Default Anybody see that big wreck on 81?

Yeah was going to Natural Bridge and hit a slippery bridge on 81. Slid off the road into a ditch. My friend and I were fine but the car caught fire. I tried to get a trucker to give me his fire extinguisher but he wouldn't let me go down there. So I watched $20,000 burn up in flames. Great.

I beat you to it first though, so I'm president =D

Sorry about your luck.... Now just go ahead and get a base or R1 and drop and LS1 in it...

Frame totaled? or is it rebuildable?

Sorry about the car..

...but make the best of it. If you had full coverage, spend that insurance check wisely on your next car. Think of it as an opportunity, although I'm sure you really loved that car.

No more test runs at my house, nelson did a slight mod to the evo and tested it out at my house, a few days later it was totaled

dex did some test launches at my house that afternoon totaled,

Im so glad you guys are ok though dex. you dont know how scary it is to come back on a wrec and see the smoke from tw0 miles away. Thats fucking scary. Id rather have two good friends here rather than a molten pile of mazda. Youll get somthing else, insurance will see to that.

I really did love the car. I was trying to risk my life to put the fire out, but they wouldn't let me do it cause it might blow up. Well I didn't care, I would have rather tried to save it.

Looks like time for a gas saving civic.

I know. I'm sure you did. I can only imagine how I would feel if that happened to me and my car, but it's dawned on me recently that "it's just a car." I always argued when people told me that, but now I think I understand. One day it'll hit you how valuable your life really is and you'll be grateful that you wake up in the morning to another day.... and while you'll probably never forget about your car, you might even move onto something even better. Things happen for a reason.

Just be glad you didn't burn to the ground with it. You can always replace a car.

No more RX-7's for a while. Sliding down the road and in the grass because of the rear getting loose at 70 mph will be no more until I get older. Since I put a little more than $20,000 into the car and won't get more than $10K from the insurance, and the car was a TOTAL loss since the damn firefighters pretty much just let it keep burning in case of explosion, I just lost a lot of money on a car I had driven 4,000 miles. I wanted to grab the hose and go down there and put it out myself.

Oh, and is it rebuildable or totaled?

70 mph + spinning + pine trees + oak trees + 30 minutes of flames===== Worse wrecked car I have ever seen.
