exhaust ticket.. question
well lastnight on my way home, a state trooper had a car pulled over. as me and another car went by, the other car had to be a dick face and rev. i proceeded down the highway. then all the sudden blue lights. im like WTF im going 57mph. i get pulled. he tells me that im the one that reved. i tryed to tell him i wasnt, but all he said was, i do believe you are. so he wrote me an exhaust ticket.
but here is the thing, my exhaust is very quite and black and looks stock.
here is the question, if i take the receipt for the muffler and this pic into court, do u think the judge will drop it? please help me out, this is bullshit.

From what I've heard/read if you show up with a picture of a "stock looking" exhaust then they should drop it. I would show the judge the picture and explain that your exhaust is very quiet (let him think it's stock) and tell him that it was another car revving.

what he said, trust me ive had my fair share with tickets when I had my neon with the srt exhaust...I had a pic/letterhead from muffler shop stating they installed oem exhaust/an actual layout of the exhaust on the car from dodge...went to court 5 times for it ! won 4 out of 5...va beach cops are just so strict..
oh jeremey, what were you thinkin
throw your cat back in, and go to a muffler shop so they can write up some proof that you have a complete exhaust, then bring that into court, they will drop it.

I would just bring the picture and receipt in to court. There is no law in place that I know of that prevents someone from revving on a cop so I don't see how that would help your case at all.
