Default ECU ????

someone tell me if i wil get anything out of doing this
im thinking about getting a p73 ecu from a type r integra and
putting it on my gsr integra
would that help at all?

you might get liek .3 horse power..

and a different rev limit i believe...

but..why swap them? you basically have the same motor..?

You will get more then .3hp, the type are has a lot better fuel maps, and the rev limiter is much higher aswell. Another good upgrade for a gsr motor, is getting a performance intake manifold, eliminating the secondary butterfly, I recommend the skunk2 manifold.

If you use the p73 computer on you gsr you will lose control over the secondaries which i think will cause you to lose a little horsepower somewhere in the rpm range.

in my opinion its a waste of money, keep the gsr ecu, your gains will be minimal and most likely unnoticeable.

if you ahve a obd1 GSR , then i would say chip the ecu ...

but if you have a obd2 gsr, then convert it to obd1 and then chip it..or just get some nitrous..fuck the bullshit, thats the cheapest 50+ hp you will ever purchase
