this is not MY dash, but it is the same model.

In section 1, i have my deck

section 2, my a/c controls

sections 3, is blank


What I want to do is move my a/c controls to section 3, and put a tv in section 2 like the picture.

What would be involved in something like this? I haven't opened her up yet, but I'm wondering if I need additional (and what kind of) wiring to extend the a/c controls.


Its either this, or custom mold in a tv in section 1 for a carputer.... but i like this layout a bit better.

what vehicle? that is the main difference.

if its on an EHVAC system, its simple as extending the harness and relocating the head.

if its a norman HVAC system, you have to extend the wiring, vac. harness, and move the blend door cable also.

 

Yes, hopefully you have no cables or linkage rods behind that.

 

if no rods or linkage at the A/C controls it should be a matter of just extending and soldering some wires for the relocation.
