HELP ME DECIDE

OK basically in spring of '06 my tickets are falling of my insurance so itll be time for a new car. I originally wanted a 2003 Mazda 6 but upon further inspection on autotrader i saw it gets an estimated 22mpg in the city. WTF IS THAT RIGHT? Im wondering what my options are for a car under $25000.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

twin turbo rx-7 last year they made them here in us. thats what an FD is.

You don't want a rotary. Unreliable and expensive.

This is coming from a rotary owner. I love 'em but I can barely afford it. Plus gas is shitty in rotaries.
