I thought it was an option that you could get for the car. Call Toyota?
There's a TRD supercharger that will work on the tC, but its weak. Like 40hp. There's suppossed to be one specifically made for the tC that will produce better gains. As far as I know its not out yet. The TRD supercharger will void your warranty IIRC.

you don't know jack. you DON'T recall correctly. you really should get your facts right before opening your hole. the whole thing about TRD equipment is that it IS factory authorized and retains warranty IF the unit or equipment is installed by a Toyota repair facility. 40hp is weak? damn, it's not bad at all considering the displacement of the engine it supports. everyone knows that unless you're using a centrifugal SC that big hp #'s aren't what will be seen. the instant-on boost is the draw. just to make another point: the JR SC didn't put such big #'s up either.
I initially bought my tC hoping to get the s/c back in Aug. '04. The release has been delayed time after time so no one knows the true release date. The TRD s/c is a centrifugal unit. This topic has been discussed alot on the scion forums. Check out scionlife.com and clubsciontc.com.
If you buy a TRD SC and have it installed...odds are your warranty won't be voided because nothing will break from it alone. The instant you change the pulley, or start adding supporting mods to it though, bye bye warranty.
