Default Hi :)

Been lurking for a while...decided to join. I have 2003.5 MazdaSpeed Protege, its grey.

Mostly stock...

Only mods are shifter mods and motor mounts along with some underbody braces. What I know about cars is mostly from reading, so my hands on knowledge (Ability) low. But I would love to learn If any body likes to work on cars at the home let me know. I'm getting tired of paying 75hr to get parts installed that if someone showed me how, I would get it. I'm a hands on kind of guy...

All you have to do is tell me what parts to take off step by step. You don't even have to get your hands dirty

Alright I'll stop begging I go to VCU I'm there 4 times a week, Main Street Parking deck.

Here is a pic of my car.

Come out to some of the meets and introduce yourself. You'll find quite a few people work on their own cars and will let you watch or hand them tools free of charge. Best way to learn is by watching someone who knows what they are doing. Hard part is finding out who knows what they are doing. Shiny car with dirty engine bay, keep looking. Dirty car with clean engine bay, talk to that guy.

You know, it's funny I happen to know a couple guys on this site who used to own a shop who made all sorts of parts for your car....
