ha negative boost? vacuum? hook the guage up somewhere else. check for vacuum leaks and any intercooler piping that may be loose at the coupler.

Re: problems with turbo
If you're trying to spool a T3/T4 it does.. Different exhaust volume and velocity, that turbo is a little big to spool very fast on a stockish D16. That may have something to do with the problem, but probably not. I'm sure it's probably something a lot more simple like a hose connector..

Re: problems with turbo
1.check your charge pipes..make sure they are all ran correctly..all connected, and there are no holes,or any type of leaks in ANY of them..the only pipe that should have a hole..is the intake charge pipe...and thats for the relief valve.
2.check your vaccuum..you might have poor vaccuum..and need to get better sources/lines.
3.MAke sure your turbo isnt blown...blown seals..shaft play...anything...start your car up..and atleast see if the exhaust pressure at idle is spooling the turbine up..it should atleast be doing that.
if none of that shit solves the problem,...i dont know what to tell you.

Re: problems with turbo
I cant understand what this guy is saying. It sounds like his gauge is sitting on 0 and doesnt move. If so your gauge is broken and quit tryin to boost your motor before you blow it up by over boosting. OR re route your vacume sourse to your hose that comes off your fuel pressure regulator and not the wire loom that is hideing the hoses you really need jk
