Default Dragstrips close to C'ville

Hey y'all, new here.

Is Richmond the closest one? I moved here from Kansas 4 months ago, and don't know the lay, but it looks like that's the case. Let me know, thanks.

Go to Richmond, it's 1/4. I believe NB is 1/8, correct me if I'm wrong.

you're kind of in the middle of nowhere in charlottesville...

sumerduck is 1/8th
old dominion is 1/8th
natural bridge is 1/8th
i think the closest 1/4 mile is richmond dragway. should be a little over an hour for you.

what do you drive? I am also in charlottesville. I usually go to MIR and Richmond dragway. MIR is about 2 hours and 15 minutes away. Richmond is about 1.5 hours away.

'68 Beetle with 2332cc 12:1 NA on pump, no toys.

Looks like Eastside is pretty ghetto. I haven't seen it yet but the surprising fact that they have a website had me a little interested until I saw the site in its entirety. I might still get out there for a run or two before the season ends. Thinking about driving out that way tomorrow to at least have a little look-see.

What's the rough weight on that Maxima? Looks to me that we might have about the same HP/weight ratio, looking at your charts. Have you broken into the 12s?

I have never wighed my maxima. I have never broken into the 12's, but I have also never run on a tire I can get traction on. If things work out I will be at the track either this friday or next friday. Let me know if you want to go.

**also eastside is not the nicest, but it is the closest by far....also just so you know its only an 8th
