ok so me and my freind were driving last night and hydroplaned into a curb last night the car is driving really rough so we took it to the shop today. the frame cradle is bent and need to be bent back. so im guessing the engine is going to have to be taken out and everything so if anyone knows how to do this and has a fair price for me please pm me asap. its a 1999 saturn sl2.

 

there was this one guy that does good work like this...vern use to have a shop where all aspects now is. i guess if you get in touch with kienan you can see if vern is still doing work anywhere.

You said the cradle is bent? Provided thats it, might be cheaper to find a cradle from a wrecked car and replace it.

 

yea its just hard to find that year saturn in a junk yard

 

The best i could tell you to do is slide the car into the curb again, but on the opposite side. Good luck though.

 

haha yea i joked around telling him to do that. haha well if anyone can come across one i think they are interchangable through 96-99 so if you happen to go to a junkyard or find one just let me know and ill give you a finders fee.

 

ok so i think i found the cradle now anyone know how to put it in and want to earn some $$$. Pm me with a price you have in mind and ill even buy you a good lunch on top of it

 

even thought u have the cradle if the chasis is bent ur cradle wont fit
ur best bet is take a ruler and measure from one point of the front to the back. now u have to do it oppositte like an x it should give u the same measurement
is it still drivable ill do the measurements for free if is bent u have to talk to my body man to see how much he charge u to pull it
