Cool HR internship at VDOT in Ashland
If anyone is studying in the HR field, this looks like a great internship for next spring.
$10.36/hr minimum

Requirements: Need individual that is interested in human resources to work with the Ashland Residency team of VDOT in Ashland, VA. Starting Date: 01/09/06. Duties include: Support VDOT residency oeprations by assisting in the administration of human resource functions to include payroll, employee benefits, recruitment/selection, employee recognition and residency training and development programs. This is an internship position, not a job announcement. It is our intention that youwill be introducted to VDOT, with the desire that you will look at VDOT as a future employer of choice. Acceptance to this internship does not guarantee employment with VDOT. Enrollment in accredited technical school, 2 or 4 year college or university in human resources field taking at least 9 credit. hours. Minimum GPA is 2.5. Some knowledge of human resources. Excellent oral and eritten communication skills. Must be a self-starter, training and support is provided. Minimum of 16 hours a week and a maximum of 20. Internship starts 01/09/06 and ends 05/12/06. Send completed State application form and your official transcript to contact information listed.
