It's the 94-97 bodystyle. It sounded really nice. He tried to get me to race, or maybe he was just showing off. But I wasn't gonna do anything with him with my slow ass car.

 

I think the car your talking about is my buddy Ray...he lives off near 360 he has a 96 Caprice (ex cop car) that's white, lowered on impala ss wheels, and lol yeah it does sound pretty bad ass, magnaflow high flow cats, 2.5" piping, and no mufflers. yeah that was probably him showing off.

Yeah, it was on 360. I got behind him at the stop light at the Kroger. He punched it when the light turned green and then was slowing down and when I'd get beside him he'd rev it. Sounded good at WOT. Made me mad because I want to do my damn swap now! I'd be stupid to attempt to race anyone with the motor I have in my car. It's running on 5 cylinders and has burnt vavles. I have to drive it like a grandma to avoid putting out a smoke trail haha.. I was gonna tell him nice car, but I got stuck behind a bus and didn't see him again.

 

lol yeah I called him up and asked him about that, and this confirms it. He told me he was fucking around with a dude in a gray camaro on 360 and you got stuck behind a bus so he went on. It's not an Impala, it's a cop package 96 caprice w/ a few boltons, eibach sportlines, impala ss wheels...he just ordered a 2" cowl and billet grille for it, along with an impala spoiler. It's gonna look hot when it's finished..

I just got the car about a month ago. The previous owner put some wannabe Weld Racing wheels on it with bigger tires in the back so it sits up higher. It makes it look like it's a drag car or something... It'd be alright if I actually had the power to back up the looks, but I don't, so when people like your buddy wants to play around I can't do shit lol. I wanna get some stock RS wheels so it looks more stock... Well until I get my swap done.
