The Car Club of Virginia Tech will be holding it's semi-annual car show on April 13th, from 9am to 5pm. Cars of all makes and models will be on display. Trophies will be awarded for several categories and a mobile dyno will be on site all day. Those interested in displaying their cars for show should contact carclub@vt.edu for further details if needed. Non CCVT members must pay $2 if they wish to be eligible for a trophy and to vote. Though you can show if you wish in the same lot and not register/pay but you can not vote. The UVA Car Club will be in attendance. Just a reminder the UVA vs CCVT first semi-annual shootout is April 11th at Natural Bridge Dragstrip. Gates open at 5pm and first car rolls off at 6 pm. This is a normal friday night at NB but CCVT and UVA club cars will have their own staging lanes and will run seperate from all other cars that entire night.

The car show nor preview was ever going to be on the drillfield. Too many stupid issues with event planning and parking services on some things. Didn't want to deal with last minute changes and such.

 

Well, they are calling for rain and snow on friday, what do we do if thats the case?

 

could you post a list of which/when cars are going onto the dyno?

Rain date is April 27th for the car show.

I'm thinking the rain/snow will be done and gone for friday evening's festivities. I check www.wunderground.com they've been pretty on-target most of the time, it's kinda still too soon to judge though.

 

Weather.com gives 40% rating for rain/snow on friday, and all the other days are around 80-90%.
