valve train question
im thinking of building another motor and im kinda hung up on the valve train that i plan on using...i dont want to pay out the ass for the valve train but i also dont want to buy crap that is just going to give me trouble down the road. I plan on building another high compression CRVtec so my question is what are most people using that is still cost friendly and very reliable.

Re: valve train question
I have heard of people using the Comp and Crower cams and that they gave a great top end. Though the idle was from mild to crap, Stage 3 & 4's if I remember right. But idle is gonna be like crap with any cam of that caliber anyhow.

Re: valve train question
that seems really cheap for a valve train...i was looking at crower and they seemd to be around like 300 for all 16 valves, and about 450ish for the springs/retainers. What is included in this valvetrain, and how reliable is it that you know of? Do you know of anyone using it, and also pm me with info on cams, thx

Re: valve train question
a little bit off topic, but for the bottom end of the motor, i was thinking of just going with a Crower stroker kit, rather than trying to piece it all together it might be a little more but in the long run could save me money...anyone have any thoughts on the subject?

I would highly recommend doing that before you slap a stroker kit in it.
