b16/gsr queastion
i have a jdm b16 obd0
and i have gsr cams obd1 cams out of a 98 gsr will those cams work in my head as far as the distribitor goes and will it run right
plz let me now thnx

Yes, any B series Vtec cam will "work" in any B series Vtec head.

yes 98 gsr cams will work and btw 98 gsr is obd2

Suppousdly the OBD-0 B16a cams are the smallest B-Series cams, as far as the size of the lobe.
I mean, if he's not gonna pay anyone to do it, and it's just time, I'd say do it, it won't hurt anything.

B16 Obd0 cams are garbage... many first hand accounts of that in other threads posted abit ago.

do i have to replace the springs and retainers
and the v tech and red line stay the same right
and what timing belt do i need to get oem b16 timing belt or gsr timing belt

You do not need to replace any valvetrain parts.
Vtec engagement and redline will not be effected.
You will still use the B16a timing belt.
