noise from my stang...

I got a 2001 V6 5-speed...Now i have noticed on cold mornings when i crank it up i hear a loud click click click and a pop and then it stops and the car idles and runs fine...its only got 40000 miles and i was just hoping to keep it from breaking....Your help is appreciated...When i got it in october it was warm so it doesn't do it on 70 degree and up days...

Sounds like an oil delivery problem. Can you be more specific, where is the sound coming from? Engine I assume - top bottom, front, rear?
