Default Looking for a decent exhaust shop....

Hi,
I'm new to the boards and I was wondering if someone could recommend an exhust shop that will install some test pipes. I've been to multiple places over in Newport News/Hampton with no luck. Is there anywhere in Va Beach or Chesapake are that would do it.
Whenever I mention cat deletes/straight pipes, everyone seems to get nervous.
Since I've got MD tags, I don't care about my car passing inspection.

If you don't want to put the name out there, just pm me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ian

Your going to have a VERY hard time finding a shop willing to do something illegal for you.

Just use a jack, some jack stands, and two wrenches and do it yourself.

Test pipes are illegal and could get my shop shut down for 6 months. On top of the $25,000 fine. No thanks dude. Good luck finding some one who will.

You will NEVER find a shop willing to do that for you.. now if you want to find a way around it.. there is always the off road pipe... but if you get caught with it.. MD plates or not.. without a cat it is illegal in all 50 states. Punishable by a $5000 fine even if you correct the problem before court. If you want to do it though.. have them do you exhaust the way you want and install the cat with a flange on each end. Then have them make you a straight pipe the same length.. called and off road pipe and have them right you up a reciept for it saying "OFF ROAD PIPE". Then when you want you can remove your cat and insert the pipe yourself.. this way the company cannot be held responsible for your stupidity.

my brother has a 350z, we have put like 3 different sets of test pipes on it. the only hard part is gettin the top 2 bolts where the headers meet the cat. you need like 2 big as extensions and a swivel. other than that it just bolts right up, if you cant find anyone to do it id be happy to use my new tools.
