Im wondering where is the best place to go to get good quality work done to my 2001 Trans Am? Im only talking about serious engine worke here(heads and cams etc..) or other serious work(rear-end swaps, transmission swaps) anything else i can do myself. Currently i am the only V8 in my team so im kinda on my own as far as finding a good speed shop for my needs. as far as rolling with imports and SRTs(we got three) goes, Im unbiased. its all about making your car perform the best it can no matter how many cylinders it has and good times with cool people. Any help would be appreciated.

well, we dont have a 'team' persay...but when we go out on a sat night theres about a doezen of us including 2 mustangs (stg 2 roush, TT Cobra) and we do our work ourselves....

 

I'll never be on a team either because none of them can seem to spell their names right and that annoys the hell out of me.

 

Basically do your own work or make a friend that can do the work for you ....dont waste your money and pay a shop to do things like heads/cam swap things like that. its not hard if you have general mechanical knowledge. Oh and get out of the club its gonna do nothing but bring you down... LOL You drive an F-Body you dont need a club.

a H/C swap isnt hard at all. it's not Simplistik either, but not too complicated.
