Steer Clear of Denbigh Auto Body in NN...
I have sent them 3 cars, and this one is the last. They painted my Escort not more than 6 months ago. The driver fender and bumper were painted, and everything looks like crap to say the least. When I confronted him about the color mismatch, he stated "Only new car look like original paint." And that was that. Everyone that has seen my Escort has said it looks like crap, it's about 4 shades different than the rest of the car if you look where they painted it.
Not to mention I only drive the car about once or twice a week, about 2 miles each way to work. The front bumper is now losing all it's paint at a rapid pace. So I took it up there today and he said "I no cover Rock Chips!" I tried to explain to him that if he prepped the car properly, it wouldn't have chipped within a few hundred miles of being painted, but he swore I must have driven on the highway or something. I can't remember the last car I had where 300 miles after painting it, there were 2-300 chips on the front bumper.
Anyways, after sending him several thousand dollars in business-I am through with them and hope none of you are considering going there. He was totally unruly and unwilling to listen to me, and claimed that I was "Try to get a Freebee," by asking for my car to be repainted correctly.
Maybe I'll post some pics of the terrible mismatch when I get the camera back.

that same guy told me that it was gonna cost 600 bucks to paint my spoiler since "colors are hard to match these days" and that he would have to order my paint from GM at cost.... I laughed at him and walked out... got it painted for 75 from Miltons and it looks damn good

the owner knows what he is doing, he is just sheisty(sp). I have had bad problems with him as well. One in which he commited insurance fraud and charged my insurance company for a new front lip for my S2000 then turned around and repaired the lip i already had with bondo and pocketed the money for the new lip. I caught him in it because he painted the lip on the car and left overspray on the splash gaurds underneath the car. When the factory front lip comes painted from the factory. I confronted him about it and he blamed it on an employee that he recently fired and then wrote me a check to buy a new lip.
