89 CRX Si with 90 chipped PM6 rev limit

Has anyone had a problem with there pm6 not reving past 6500 rpm?

I am out of ideas, and cannot find the problem. Any clue?

I had a PM6 in a Crx with a Ls motor and if i cut the car off and cut it back on real quick for some reason the rev limiter went away. I thought it was kinda weird.

I think its the PM6 still, I had two ecu's for it.. Im pretty sure i left the PM6 in it when i sold it to you.

yeah if the motor does not reach 180 the ecu will lower the revlimiter
did it to me when I had a low thermostat in the car.

I had the same problem..and just put a PR4 ecu in it....let me go to 7000

yeah...i couldnt find a pr3 ecu..or a chipped ecu to run one wire vtec for my Y8 sohc vtec swap..so i just used a Pr4 till i could find one..and then i sold the crx.

it ran normal...but it will idle a lil bit higher
