i live in an apartment that has a wokring fireplace....so i need some wood...not a lot but i would like to say money and burn wood instead of using the heat...some where close to reston or frederick md

 

giant, safeway, home dept, even your local 7-11, sells firewood

 

i got a huge ass stack of it in my backyard, but i dont know if its rotted or not, haha. we have a gas fireplace. BOO!

 

not tring to be off subject but if you want have a nice smell in your house, if you ever eat oranges. save the skin and dry it. and put it in the fire place when all of the wood burns out. the heat will burn the orange skin slowly n have nice scent.

 

Next time you go to the grocery store in Frederick, look on their bulletin board and someone should have something posted - wood for sale. Of all the people in Frederick, you should have no problem finding some wood.

I mean.....you live in the sticks.. don't you see miles and miles of sticks on the way home everyday? You could stop on the side of the road in the evening, get a trunk of firewood, and no one would notice...

Look in the paper. I just picked up a cord of wood for $115.00 and that is a shit load of wood. 4 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 8 feet long pile....
