its about that time of the year again when i get another motor.. i have a 93 gsr with the stock b17. my problem is that the engine is going but i wanna keep it and rebuild it since its a rare motor or watevers, so heres where yall come in... what motor to put in it??? i use to have a b16 in my other DA and wasnt too happy with the preformance that i got outta of the motor. i dont really care about NA or Turbo, im open for anything... i was thinkin about gettin a gsr block and throwing my b17 head on there.. i need help!!! what would you do if you were in my shoes???

get a b18a block, new bearings/bore/hone/blueprint/balance and get aftermarket rods/pistons and throw the b17 head on it and get something to tune it with.

 

Get a gsr supercharged with all itr parts inside and run 12.92 all day long. My boy has this setup and he only wants 3500 for everything. If you are interested give him a call 252-465-9981 ask for Jermaine

 

I would just throw in an LS for the time being, build up the B17 on your spare time and reswap when you are done..
