Default H22 COMPAIRED to Type R

Hello every1 im not big on hondas ! so this means that i dont know to much about the motors but would like to find out a few things because im thinking about buying a prelude or a type R just was wondering whitch puts out the more hp and what would be easier to work with. ive been looking at a 94 prelude si (h22a)bone stock and also was looking at a 00 type R (with jdm motor)
but was more intrested in the prelude because of the money situation also had some good ideas for the car (prelude)

also was wondering if the H22A was supercharger friendly?

H22 is supercharger friendly - IMO, though, C5(Type R) is much better engine to be working with, plus the car is lighter, any power gains will be much more noticeable seat of the pants.

h22 takes boost better then a type r. Type r is goal oriented around all motor. But type r's can be boosted with some lower compression mods and a good tuner. Type r is lighter and I think funnier to drive. I have drove both cars. Plus a type r holds more value then a prelude. Parts for an integra are ever going and much easier to find. If I had the money I would go type r as long as its not been wrecked and the hell beat out of it. This is my opinion.

get the type r. especially if you know nothing about hondas.
parts are more availible and cheaper. also don't have to sleeve the block to upgrade pistons. h22's don't like more then 7-9 lbs of boost unless its really really well tuned. and then still sketchy. but I do love my lude.

Supercharged Hondas suck ball IMO. & the ITR is a much nicer car to deal with. I dont like any of the preludes beside 97+... The 97 & up are just nice cars & have sexy lines.
