Default Satellite Radio, Head Units installs wanted..

Alright I need extra money, so if anyone needs satellite radio installs, head units and stuff like that just let me know. I do it for dirt cheap compared to what circuit city and best buy will charge you. I just need the extra money. PM me for details, I am in the Vienna/Fairfax area.

Power from the battery to the amp? Do you also need RCAs and remote turn on run with it? Well, the RCAs run ont he other side of the car.

If your just talking to run the power wire like 20 bucks. But if you want me to wire up the whole amp and subs itll only be 30.

hmm... ok sounds good. I'm still undecided, at this point i'm gonna tap the rears for high-line-input on the amp. So as of now just power, and maybe a remote. when is good for you, and where would you wanna work on it?

Saturday or sunday? I would like you to drop it off at my garage, but if you have a garage and would like me to work on it at your house I can, but depending on where you live I would need a few bucks gas.

dude, so your familier with xm radio and how it should be installed? i'd be willing to give you money if you can help me re wire the system, me and my friends have been trying to figure out why im hearing a whine on my xm

last nite we came to find out its somthing between the xm adapter and the alpine head unit ie: we turn off the subwoofer when listening to xm so we were experimenting and we changed it to the radio and the subs were back... any idea on how i should get this fixed or do you think you could look at it. im also free this saturday if you want me to cruise up there i wouldnt mind driving out towards where you live i know i live pretty far (woodbridge)

sorry for the long post

Are you guys actually rewiring the system or taking out everything to look at the wires again? The whining sounds like either you may not have grounded it right or your running a power wire along the same path that the antenna wire is running.

I am confused as to what your saying about the radio and subs working then not working...

The XM is running off of 88.1 radio correct? Now did you use the direct adapter for the xm or are you just running off a regular fm transmittor.?

PS-SOHKeg, that sounds fine, I will check my schedule to see what time I can do it, not sure wether ill be working or not yet.
