drilling threw carbon fiber
is there a special drill bit type i should use or any special way i should do it, i dont want my CF trunk to crack but i want to add the a-spec wing, any suggestions?

wear lots of protective gear/clothing and ALWAYS wear a respirator.

i always use the drill in REVERSE that way it wont splinter the hell out of the CF. do the same with fiberglass.

i use tape over the carbon and a metal carbide bit @ high rpms

Put masking tape over and under the area where you will be drilling. This will help prevent cracking.
