Default Dyno Results

Figured Id post up the results I got 2 days ago. This is on an AWD dyno, factory 7bolt bottom end, factory HG, factory tranny, and even factory head/intake manifold/throttle body if you consider those are just from a 1990-1991 DSM. Anyway, let me know what you think.

Is your air/fuel supposed to be that low? Mine is much higher. Different car obviously, just wondering.

Quite impressive but with better tuning, raising your A/F to 12.5-13 you may see a better gain and with a (just a little) little less fuel consumption.

12.5-13 AFR on a 20 some psi boosted car is asking for trouble, err, or any boosted car for that matter..

I tune for 11.5 personally, better safe than sorry!

about the dyno though, very nice! what turbo are you runnin now?

You make more whp at 4250 rpms than I do at 6,500

Thats what tuning is all about. Do it right and you wont have anything to worry about.

I think the a/f ratio looks good! Playing it safe.

Nice power! Congrats. I'm impressed.

In the topend from 6K+ if I tried to lean out the AF a few % it would begin to knock. Since I am on the factory bottom end I want absolutely zero knock, so I kept it safe up there. In the low end where it dipped into the 10's are few spots I could have likely leaned it out a hair, however I could only do but so many pulls and small tweaks over the course of an hour's time. Thanks though. I agree 11.5:1 would have been the better number to aim for.

I am running an FP Green, which is a 50trim compressor wheel, TD06 Compressor/turbine housings, and TD06H turbine wheel. This run I believe was at 28.8psi.

Thats the point, 12.5-13:1 AFR is simply not right lol.. I tune my own car, I know whats right. For one, you wouldnt have much leeway, you'd be on the edge of tuning, and you aren't going to make much power going from 11.5 to 12.5 or even 13.1(which is crazy).. timing is more important imo..

You are right about the higher rpm. What F/M are you using? If your still on the stock ECU then yes stay where you are.
