Gear swap. What local shops can do it?
Ok. i have been thinking about getting some 4.10's for my mustang, ive been doing some research and decided thats what i want. does anyone know any shops that could install the gears for me. i hear they are a pain in the ass to install and professional installation is highly recommended. so, does anyone know where i should get these done or any suggestions? thanks guys
I paid $150 for my 4.10 installation. Done by Rick on Tidewater Racing, he's done a lot of work for not only me, but quite a few other people, and I would take my car to him any day of the week before a shop.
really? that sounds pretty good. what mustang did you have i presume? ive seen prices go for 200-300 on the installation alone. does he include the spedo recalibration too or what?
this same shop can do the dyno pulls too in your sig? hmmm, i think i may have found a winner. just lemme ask you this buddy, do you guys do custom tunes too cuz i have other mods on my car also that my car hasnt been tuned with yet (ie; nitrous), if so, i will be calling you pretty soon.
sorry about the old thread bump, but i finally ordered the gears and rear end rebuild kit. DTP does not do gears anymore. any other suggestions for around NN area? or any place not too far
DTP doesn't do gears anymore because Sean over at MAS just bought a new tool to set the gears up.
There are no shops around NN area, you're going to have to go to the otherside of the water.
