Default 96 Integra- burning oil

Like there isn't any tomorrow. Yes. It's smoking...quite a bit at some points..

I have a CAI and..I ran through a puddle..(or..really..it was my street...flooded) about 3-4 months ago...I'm assuming the rings finally gave?

any idea?

exactly what we talked about before, time for a rebuild. you got lucky that the car started after that incident and has ran since, but its about that time to break that motor down and rebuild. compression test, leak down test will confirm im sure. valve seals and rings are shot i guarantee.

Perfect time to buy new goodies then eh?

I need a garage to put the motor in after it gets pulled as I haven't any stinkin' room in mine.

Rebuild kit from honda? yes?

Buy a compression tester and check compression, or better yet "rent" one at auto zone. Check it and post up results..

How much oil do you have to add and how often?

I don't think this has anything to do with running through a puddle, which probably did no harm to your car. You would have had to basically submerged the filter or had it come in contact with a tidal wave amount of water for anything to happen, that and you giving it a good amount of gas at the same time.. and the car would have stalled at that, and not started again.

my street....was the puddle. It was flooded and I don't know why but I decided to go through it MORE IMPATIENT was in the car with me...(screaming at me...lol..i think) but yea...the car did stall smoked everywhere...then started back up

I'm not too to to worried. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to get all the parts.
