Default the 540 has some new goodies and a new sound>>

got the intake & hi flow cats sent over by Revhigh, eliminated the resonator (thanks sean & united) and w/ a remus exhuast it just sounds nice and feels very strong now.

This was from start up, then slight idle, then slowly up to 2k rpm and then a few bigger revs.

I love the new sound - it is only loud during heavy acceleration, at idle its just about as quiet as it was, but under heavy acceleration it sounds pretty mean!

Almost sounds like a blend of my 650rhwp Z & a v8 stang (not that i dig stangs) - but doesnt sound "ricey/lawnmower" at all.

thanks again Rev,
Wagz
PS - much much much more power now w/ the Revhigh ECU upgrade, CAI, resonator elimination, and hi flow cat swap.

was having the hiflow cats put on and the resonator eliminated. I've know sean (united muffler) for about 4 years now and i used to have him do work on the Z when i first started and he's a nice guy - but there's only certain things i'll let him do and thats mainly exhuast stuff.

They need a mandrel bender before there was much that I'd let them do. They made a pipe for john and its hideous IMO. He doesnt mind it, but jesus I thought it was ugly. The guy is very nice I agree.

ya - he's done some messed up work for me in the past - but always tried to correct it - but its the time and effort that sucks having to have shit redone.

Example - my check engine light came on today and i believe its cuz his welds may have a leak in them which triggers my check engine light for the hi flow cats.

yes - they need a mandrel bender!!
