I posted this on RPMs board, but I figured some folks might like to see the accident pic.

I just got back to the apt.... I was on the way over to James' place a little before 3pm. Just before Parham on Mayland, a girl decided at the last second to turn left in front of me. I hit her basically head-on (her car at a 45ish deg angle from turning).... I had my seatbelt on and my airbags of course popped out. I am pretty sore (neck anyway) and still shaky. The passenger in the other car seemed to be hurt pretty badly, and both occupants left in an Ambulance.

I have worked on this car nearly all weekend, every weekend since I got it in December; what a waste.

Since I have no scanner, here is a pic of the polaroid that one of the officers took for me.

 

Damn man, sorry to hear about that. Glad your ok though. Cars can be replaced. Am I to assume its totalled?

 

I'm thinking that it will be totaled... it really just happened, so an adjuster hasn't made any call yet.

Sucks...

time to sink some billz into the caddy.

 

it looks bad, but i guess its better that the car got hauled away on a stretcher instead of you. I hope the other people are ok, especially the passenger because its not her fault the girl made a bad move.
