Do any of the Scoob owners out there have a RalliSpec gearset? Im thinkng about getting one. If you do how do you like it and how much of a bitch was it to put in? Whats the I-state performance like? Any help would be greatly appreciated

RalliSpec as in....Sti RA Gearset???

 

I think he is refering to the options provided by RalliSpec, as in the RA gears, the Kaaz (I think they still offer it), etc. Even though I had the gearset done for my old WRX through Racecomp Engineering (which was primarily out of what they had in stock at the time), RalliSpec is definately one of the most reputable places out there to have a Subaru transmission rebuilt. There are tons of people from NASIOC who have had theirs done there, and so far Ive seen only good reviews.

 

Gearboxtech. Google it. The guys name is Andrew. PPG gearsets are the new hot ticket item, and holding up to some crazy power.

 

I wonder how loud the straight cut gears sound, most likely really cool for 10min then sucks after that.

 

Iv heard that they whine like crazy, and tend to get annoying after a while
