Default Hood Pins

Do you think cars should have hood pins instead of hood release?

The only time It hink hood pins are neccesary are for FG or CF race only hoods. They're the ones that don't have much for bracing save for maybe two crossmembers, and that's it. I'm going to be putting 4 corner hood pins on my 93 and remove most of the bracing to save some more weight. I also want it to be easily removed because the hood hinges in a way that it's hard to do any motor work with the hood on.

people who have a cf or fiberglass hood should use hood pins, or they're dumb and an accident waiting to happen.
