Default Check engine

i was driving in the show when i noticed my check engine light came on. and then my gauges started flashing and then my speedometer just died. it would randomly jump when i shifted, but when i started the car today its stay at zero and the check engine light stays on. the tach still works though. anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

The speed sensor located on your transmission. Held on by 2 10mm bolts. Easy fix...

It is just to the left of the starter, it is a 3 pin plug that goes straight down and connects to the sensor that is bolted to the transmission. It is hard to miss. Its the big gray one right next to the starter...

its not it, i checked it and its fine. i also checked my battery and its still blinking and flashing

Since the CEL is on...why dont you pull codes and see what the code is? Being a tech for enough years you usually use the computer of the car to help diagnose CEL/ABS/SRS etc faults. And did you actually remove the sensor and test it with a voltmeter? Or just make sure it was plugged in?

tomorrow we're gonna take it to autozone for a diagnostic test
