Default 91 CRX SI Parking Brake

Just installed new rear calipers and pads on a 91 CRX SI. How do you adjust the parking brakes? I'm not talking about the adjustment in the car behind the e-brake handle. How do you adjust the e-brake at the caliper. The e-brake dosn't hold even with the inside adjustment tightned all the way. Thanks.

sounds like your cables are too long (?)
all you did was replace the rear calipers and pads and now the cables wont fit?

Actually we did a rear disk conversion on a HF. We replaced the cables, lower control arm, brake hoses and put on new (rebuilt) calipers w/pads. The pedal is firm after bleeding the brakes but the e-brake doesn't grab. The cables and other brake parts came off a CRX SI.

yea...take out your passenger seat to get access to remove the ebrake handle...get in there and make sure that its not fucked up itself...if its not your cable is slipping and needs to be pulled tighter...unless some one drove with the e brake on for a long time like a dumb ass. then you might be in some trouble.

sort of stumped.
is there any chance the donor parts came off of a civic rather than a crx?
clearly, your e-brake cables are too long.
under typical circumstances, i can't see how they might have stretched.

The E-brake cables connect to a spring loaded lever on the rear calipers. When you do a brake job, the last thing you have to do is push the lever back and forth by hand a few times until it gets tight. When you're done there will be a very light touching of the pads to the rotors when you spin the wheel. If all this seems ok and you still have the problem, I would say the cables aren't the right length like everyone else says.
