nitrous.!?!
nitrous.!?!
ok i have searched, and read and searched some more.
i found this. http://www.dragva.com/forums/showthr...t=laws+nitrous
and this http://www.dragva.com/forums/showthr...t=laws+nitrous
but i dont seem to get the actual LAW.?
what i can understand from the LAW in VIRGINIA, is that YOU can have a FULL nitrous bottle in your car (not readily accessable, ie: trunk) and NOT hooked up?
am i right?
im gettign nitrous later this week, and i dont want to get pulled over and get a $500,000,000 ticket and lose my car and all that shit b/c i didnt understand the law.
i cant navigate the virginia laws website for shit, i dont even know what to search for...but im sure one or most of you have searched for this before.
if you could please post a link to the page where this law is described.
thank you very much

well its going to be in a crx, so if the cops pulsl me over, its going to be kinda obvious.
i have rear interior, but i dont have a rear hatch cover.
so a big blue or purple bottle will be easily seen...
ive heard people say, that you can have the bottle in your car, but it CANNOT be full, and cannot be within reach to the driver.
which one is it? god dammit

well it sorta depend man. remind your its the cops decision to give you a ticket. what i have played with is not have the line hooked up and not to be with reach to the driver. just dont point the neck of the bottle to the driver seat to be accessible.
i went to school with a kid that always had a full bottle sitting in his back seat, the school cop (sheriff) came out one day and we asked him about it, he told us it was fine to have as long as it wasnt hooked up
You still have to be able to transport your bottles to the track, that's why the you can have full bottles that aren't hooked up. That's the way it was explained by a state trooper that came to our company for equipment training a few years ago.
