where/how to attain a private pilot's license??

Default where/how to attain a private pilot's license??

does anyone have any information on how to get started in the tidewater area? i have information for up here in blacksburg, but i dont think i could complete my hours, or have enough funds to finish it up before may. so i was wondering if anyone had their private pilot's license and if they knew of anyone i could contact to be on my way. thanks in advance

yea just go to any private airport. You could go to cheasapeake regional (KCPK). Talk to a Clair D'Antonio. She just started instructing there. I got mine from Langley Aero club where she just finished working. She is a very good instructor and IS Very Very hot!! It was terribly distracting, but she is very professional.

If you do go to cheasapeake, tell here that Anthony Rendon says hey and that langley misses her. ha ha

What they will probably do is give you a checkride to see how you stand then start you off from a certain point in the FAA Private pilots training folder.

Other places to go are:

Williamsburg(KJGG), Newport News(KPHF), Langley Aero club(KLFI), and suffolk(KSFQ), and try (but i dont know) virginia beach aka. Apollo Soucek Field) [KNTU] . I know that all these places have aero clubs.

could i access the langley aero club? i'm just a civilian. i have no prior knowledge, so i'd be starting from scratch
