Transmission Rebuild / Clutch Install
Soon here I'm going to need to take care of my transmission and clutch. Looking for quotes for both simultaneously, price and time frame. And as a side note, I will be buying the rebuild kit and the clutch. Thanks ahead of time.

And that's just labor correct? And I knew it wasn't going to be "cheap", just wanted to see what range I was venturing in to.

Re: Transmission Rebuild / Clutch Install
Snap-On shopkey says
Clutch .6 hours
tranny remove/reinstall 3.4 hours
tranny rebuild 6.4 hours
6.4 + 3.4 + .6 = 10.4
10.4 x $60 (shop hourly rate) = $624
add tax, supply fees, env fees your looking at approximately $700 for labor only.

Nice, I'm not too big of cowls over 3" though. I bought a 3" fiberglass ci hood for my Camaro, it was nice looking, but it got annoying trying to drive it occasionally.

yeah I can understand that... but in Bills case it's functional... Not only because of the heat removal.. But also because he has his gauges in the cowl too... Have a few other pics if your intrested...
