its a 1995 dx 100xxx miles fairly new paint 5 speed...
im thinking of buying it....price is kept to me good price
it has an idle problem...im thinkin its the ecu........ guy said it has a "hunting" problem.

"hunting problem" check for vacum leaks of clean out Idle air control valve or coolant could be low,if it's surging (up and down, idle) check engine light on? cause if it runs good off idle it's not ECU, if it was no fuel or spark. discribe simptoms.

 

the man said, it runs fine when driving....no cel.... just bad idle... call him, for i dont know all the symptons, not mine yet 757 270 7520

 

do you plan on buying this car? cause if you are do you plan on swaping it's drivetrain? or fix it up, dude you got to make sure you find out. I would call but I'm not buying this car. there could be alot of things wrong timing could be off a tooth if anything take it to a shop and tell them that you want it checked out for a prepurchase

 

Bouncy idle is not a problem. Easy fix if you know where to look. Start with vacuum leak. Just follow all the vacuum lines and make sure all are connected. The bleed the coolant system. Air in the system will cause bouncy idle also. The check the fitv. Take off the intake and plug the hole inside the throttle body, still bounces, then clean/replace iacv.
