Default 240 ?

Looking at shaving my antenna. Talked to a guy at GoHo and he said he's not sure but he thinks some of the 240s have the antenna imbedded in the glass. Does anyone know for sure? And if so what models?

I plan on going XM and roof mounting the Sat antenna so its not a real big deal if not. Just kinda wondering now

Just solder the antenna wire to the chassis. You don't need an arial to get reception. I have that setup on my F150 and you can't tell a difference.

Hey guys,

Got around to looking at my back window last night. It actually looks like there might be an antenna in the glass. There is the wire for the defroster and above that is another connection not tied in to the defroster. the only thing I can think that it is, would be an antenna. When i get around to stripping the interior I will let you know for sure.

here are some pics of what i'm talking about. I don't think you can see but the top wire is not tied into the defroster at all.

It looks like its part of the defrost. Does the top block touch any part of the defrost lines?

The top block does not tie into the defrost lines at all. Why would they have 2 seperate defrost lines? And the top line is only about the size of one loop.
