No.....Properly set up RWD is simply faster than front wheel drive. Hands down, I'm sorry but it's true. A FWD car is doing both the accelerating and the turning through one set of tires. RWD uses the fronts for steering and the rears for accelerating which means more available traction. So I say again, sorry but front wheel drive cars will never match the potential of rear wheel drivers. It's just physics
