THIEVES CAUGHT IN VA!!!
About time , some thieves finally got caught...should have left them on the side of the road
Loudoun County, Virginia- Six teenagers, referred to as the ‘bumper car thieves’, have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of auto thefts in Loudoun County and Northern Virginia.
In three separate incidents in the past several weeks eight vehicles were stolen in Loudoun. All but one of the cars was a Honda. The stolen cars were taken from the Sterling area and then raced up and down the back roads of Western Loudoun. Seven of the cars were left abandoned in the area; in one case the car was set afire. The races themselves left the vehicles heavily damaged and resulted in nearly $100,000 in damages.
The identity of the suspects in the series of thefts began to unveil as Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the Waterford area on January 24th when they came across four vehicles pulled to the side of the road of Route 7 in the area of Fort Johnson Road. All of the vehicles began to pull out and then pulled over again on Alysheba Drive. The driver of the last vehicle fled out of the car as the other vehicles began to accelerate away. Taken into custody that evening were an 18-year-old from Falls Church and a 16-year-old from Fairfax. They were both pulled from stolen Honda Civics.
As a result of the January apprehensions five more suspects were identified through a joint investigation between the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Unit, the Fairfax County Police Department and the Arlington Police Department. The suspects are believed to be involved in at least seven more auto thefts in Northern Virginia.
Charged is Joseph D. Demarino, 18 of Falls Church, Jason Molinares, 18, of Falls Church, Ada Elizabeth Ramos, 18, of Falls Church, Juan David Hernandez-Lopez, 18, of Falls Church, a 16-year-old from Fairfax and a17-year-old from Falls Church. All of the suspects have been charged by the Loudoun Sheriff’s Office with five counts of Grand Larceny and five counts of conspiracy to commit Grand Larceny. They have also been charged with multiple felonies in Fairfax County. Warrants have also been issued for a 21-year-old Arlington man who has left the area.
The suspects have all been tied to the auto thefts that occurred on December 28th and January 9th. In the December case deputies responded to the area of Clarke’s Gap Road around 6:30 AM for a report of an auto accident. Deputies would find an abandoned 1998 Honda Civic. The car was crashed into a fence and left. Several days later a second car, a 2000 Honda Civic, would be located by a horseback rider. Both cars had been stolen from the Sterling area during the overnight.
On January 9th Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of two vehicles possibly racing in the area of Old Waterford Road and Canter Lane around 5 AM. Upon arrival deputies discovered an abandoned 1995 Honda Civic and a 1998 Acura Integra that were heavily damaged. It was determined that both vehicles were taken during the overnight from the Sterling area but had not yet been reported as being stolen by their owners. The Honda was stolen from the area of Huntington Square and the Acura was taken from the area of the Home Depot in Cascades.
A third vehicle, a 1994 Honda Civic, was located abandoned near the 40000 block of Hurley Lane which is in the general vicinity of the two other vehicles. This vehicle was also taken from the area of the Home Depot in Cascades and had been burned. The car was also recovered prior to being reported stolen by its owner.

at least they will be getting raped when they are locked up. Seems more and more car thieves are getting caught, this is great. Hopefully it will deter them so they stop altogether (doubtful)
