Place for race and show...I think
Im pretty new to all this but a couple years ago i went to like a semi car race and show on this abanded airstrip in Pungo right by Pungo Pizza. I dont know about it anymore i was younger, but know im older im looking to find a chill spot for racers (i dont know if there are any or not). So i can come and hang out and show my car. Well if anyone knows what im talking about let me, i am just wondering about it, Peace
they auto-x out there, they dont really race parsay as in drag, um as for showing your car off im not too sure about that either...........................Big D
Haygood shopping center. Where the Chick-fil-a is. If you turn in right where that is, and goto the left, near the end of the strip is the resturant. If you turn left instead, and go all the way to the end, there's a bar on the right. That used to be the place where everyone hung out, not sure if thats still the location, I heard the bar was under new ownership.
Wherever you end up going, do yourself a favor and heed this warning. Do not drive in thier hauling ass, revving, or showing off in any other rediculous way.
Please. Thanks.
Please. Thanks.
I've been to a few of these "car shows" (even tonight) and Mustangs seem to dominate the bunch. What's interesting is there are no imports, none that I seen anyways. I like american cars but I also like many of the imports too.
