pulled over on 295 in hanover county
soo i was driving on 295. all lanes clear until i hit some cars up front i was going a little over 80. an i slow down behind some cars. an apparently there is a cop (state) in front of me two cars ahead. what felt like 5 mintes goes by an the cop pulls over onto the shoulder an slows down an gets behind me an pulls me over. he tells me he has radar in the back of his car an clocked me going 86. he was real nice (office lewis) an said i was nice too. soo he gives me a reckless at 84/65. he tells me to ask the judge for driving school because of my good behavior an since i have a clean record, i'm 20 years old an have been driving forever.
i was juss wondering, what the worst thing that could happen, i know a fine but what else. i've searched an read that hanover county courts is mad slow an some people get off an some dont? i was juss asking for more opinions. thanks for the help

. When i got my ticket for 80 in a 55, i was fined and that was it. Perhaps you'll get off the same way.
They have been patrolling that kinda hard lately. I have past them doing 85-ish and have been lucky enough to not get pulled. everything that I have seen pulled is either american muscle or tuner. That's profiling and it's wrong...Anyway, if you go to court..no excuses. Just say "sorry" and "is there anything that can be done?"
We were zooming on 295 yesterday going to and from VMP. I was doing a steady 95mph from 64 to 460 and 460 to 64.
what time did you get pulled?

25mph road, over 45 is reckless
35mph road, over 60 is reckless, this one has the most leeway.

60 & 65mph roads, over 80 is reckless
It is also the officers discretion to give you reckless or speeding. I got hit with a 58 in a 25 and got a speeding ticket since the officer was cool.
