im about to buy i transmission from a 91 civic si hatchback i have the dx model and he told me that its a direct bolt up but he said i might need to buy an si clutch and i was wondering about the shift linkage too but i thought i might not have to buy it cause thay are for d series motors im stumped can anyone give me any info or insight i would greatly appreciate it! thanks

 

You only need the tranny. The splines on the 1.5 litre trannys are different and I mean Hell your changing the tranny any way so get a si clutch as well cuase you will need it. Shift linkages.....will be the same....just use a pin punch for the pin on the tranny shift linkage

 

it is direct bolt up and im not sure about the si clutch id just say order a aftermarket clutch for a si and the shift linkage should be the same
