it had a ls/vtec and it ran fine, i pulled it and put a b18b1 and hooked all the wires back up, the only thing that is not hooked up is the knock sensor and the thermastat sensor..... it fired a couple times and wouldnt idle, kept dieing off without gas. now it wont start at all, its got fuel, its got spark.... i dont know what the problem is....any suggestions would be great let me know something, also i have a pr4 ecu in it now.

 

Did the car sit for a long time? I've had problems like that with bad gas. Also, spray starting fluid into the throttle body and see if it will run for a few seconds off of that. Try tapping on the injectors with an extension or a screwdriver while turning the engine over. Just basic stuff.

 

any check engine lights?

 

just put the swap in, and the car has sat for like 2 weeks, sprayed starting fluid and nothing......

 

dont know if the check engine light is on but im sure it is because of the knock sensor and thermostat sensor....

 

check grounds, like thermostat ground.

 

checked them.....the car ran at first, now it wont do nothing, and i have not messed with any wires.

 

Check timing and everything? firing order right? make sure dizzy is at cylender 1 and 1 at tdc?

 

well the pr4 ecu doesnt even look for a knock sensor.

 

Damn it austin i told you i would of looked at it sunday, but nooooooo you had to leave me a nd go play paint ball when i wasn't allowed. lol

when you were tring to start it the other morning i did hear it sound like the timing was off. i think you have the wires wrong. leave me the key and tomorrow moring i will look at it before work.
