Anyone at Nova taking any networking classes?
Im trying to get back in school and also learn more about networking and start getting my certifications so i can get a real job and not some crappy bank job for the rest of my life. Just wondering what classes should i start with. Ive herd to start with a+ and then MCP, sound right? thanks for all your help.

i am also interested in these clases computer networking and security and was thinking of going to a private institue like ITT tech or Chubb institute,etc

Take a CCNA & CCNP class and you should be set. If you pass one Microsoft class, you are considered an MCP. With a Cisco cert, you can get a nice networking job.
Don't goto ITT or a for-profit university. Some companies don't consider the degrees they give as credible.
Community college is the best bet for a good education for the cheapest price. Alot of the times, instructors who teach at community college also are the same ones who teach at local universities where you pay twice as much for the same instructor and sometimes even with the same textbook!!
NOVA is a good choice from what I hear. If you want to make a jump to a four year school and really want to work for the Government IT field, transfer out to Capital College in MD. That school is the Government's first choice when they need entry-level IT people. GMU is their second choice.
