i just recently installed a hasport shift linkage in my crx that had a stock shifter on it. does anyone know what the hell i can do to get rid of the side to side play on the shifter?

it doesnt really have any play from front to back but the side to side play in this thing is terrible, i cant stand it. when the car is in gear you can move the shifter almost all the way to either side.

any help or tips would help

I had the same probelm you might want to try to change the bushing on the bottom of the shifter

 

on the ball part?

 

yeah the lower part

 

where can i get one??

 

Honda is where I got mine.

 

Energy suspension sells the bushing, that's what I used.

 

is energy suspensions online? how much do they run?

 

Summitracing.com sells it, I forget how much.
