I'm taking em off, just want to find a good place to turn em!

All the machines I've ever seen do it with them on the car. I think labor is right around 5/10ths per side, but it's been a while, so I could be slightly off...

We always took them off the car to do it at Richmond Ford. No clue what they charged but it wasnt much. I'd say to get a nice clean surface you'd be better off putting it on a true lathe OFF the car.

Also, just from my experience...its always a good idea to buy some extra rotors to have sitting around all clean and straight so you can swap them and get the others turned at your leisure. I have 2 sets of the SHO and rotate them whenever they get warped...no down time

Some shop tried to rip my brother off for warped rotors by saying his calipers "were locked"...

Such bullshit...

Too late. He got his rotors turned and that was all that was wrong. The shop wanted ~500 bucks to do a hell of a lot of work that I just didn't believe. He got the rotors turned for 30 and it's great.

Seriously makes me want to open a reputable shop...

I had to go through the hoops of explaining how it couldn't be that his calipers weren't working at all...

This is the second time i've saved his ass over 300 dollars. First time was when Richmond Honda decided the reason his car wasn't starting all the time was the ignition switch and relay. It was the fucking sensor near the top of the clutch pedal...lil cleaning and wa fucking la!
