Barrett-Jackson Auto Auctions' '85 Countach
Watching Speed's Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction and saw an '85 Lamborghini Countach sell for $85k. What boggled my mind after the sale was the anouncer's statement:
"...A typical clutch job for a countach ranges from $10k-$15k...".
If I had to pay someone for a clutch job, I sure wouldn't complain after hearing a cost for a Lambo.
Anyone else have quotes on other exotics?

Yeah, I saw that car too. I have sat in one before. Of course, I didn't get to drive or anything. But to just to be given the privilege to sit on one was great.
Enzo
F1
The Enzo is definitely a car for the habitually rich; handing over 6,500 C-notes to your friendly Ferrari dealer is just the beginning. In addition to Hummer-like fuel economy, an oil change calls for a bit over twelve quarts of special, factory-required oil at $60 a quart. A brake job costs about the same as a well-equipped VW Passat.
Oil Change: $12,000, included with clutch every 3,000 miles

I think they replace the rotors with that too. 15" Ceramic race rotors and pads for a 8-caliper piston can't be cheap. Course you add 100% premium just to say you have a Ferrari.
Saw the Countach too, looked pretty good. The '59 El Dodo conv. is where its at though. That thing was pimp.

i know Eurosport charges around 10k for a clutch job on the Diablo
to do the job you need to remove the motor
and the clutch itself is $1000 plus shipping from Italy
and the reason you have to change them so often is because it is AWD and the clutch takes alot of abuse
