Talking Paragon March 25

Me and some of my friends went up to Paragon in Hazleton, Pennsyvania this weekend. It was just a shakedown run for my truck. We ran mostly high blues and blacks. We ran a new unrated trail, that will probably be a red, at the end of the day. I didn't take that many pics since I was driving most of the time, so here are a few that I managed to get. Not many action shots since we were moving pretty fast around the park.
First truck in the group was Brad's Ranger truggy on 36 Iroks. I followed him around the whole day.

Right behind me was Terry's 85 with 5.29's and a spooled rear.

Terry's truck at the top of one of the trails we climbed.

I managed to get a lot of shots of the 85 since he was right behind me. Behind him was Eric's 94 Toy truggy.

Another shot of the 94 on 37 Pitbulls and 4.7 in the case with Randy's jeep behind him.

Broken input shaft.

RC action.

Top of a red. Right after I busted a brake line. Vice-gripped it and limped back to staging.

Looks like a good time. Too bad we don't have rocks like that around this area.

Yeah. I wish I hit up Crozet last time you went up there with my brother. The auto did real good up there. Just kept in drive most of the time. Threw it in 2nd and low once in a while, descending and stuff, and it pretty much crawled over everything. The main thing I would change on my truck though is the wheelbase. I ended up doing like 100-point turns when things got tight. I was thinking about bobbing the hell out of the bed. The only thing keeping me from doing that right now is that the Chevy's are so long, so I might end up linking the rear or something. So I definitely need to do something about my turning radius. I might throw a selectable up front also.

PAP's in Hazleton, PA. It's about 7-8 hours from VB. Definitely worth the drive though.

turns out that my buddy in the 94 broke both of his 30 splines and the gear set. if you know what 30 splines are, you know that shit's insane. you can probably count on one hand the number of times someone's broken a 30 spline.
